About the Owner

Looking for a challenge, Ms. Barrett decided in 1987 to take advantage of the new DTP technology and left her job at a Fortune 500 company. She wanted to offer the kind of nuts-and-bolts services smaller businesses needed by combining her real world experience with the business skills learned at Aquinas Junior College of Business and Bentley College. Ms. Barrett's philosophy of providing high quality service at fair prices has governed her business since its inception. Owning her own business, she understands the importance of every project and has a personal interest in the success of clients' businesses.

Her goal, to build her business and contribute to the business community, prompted her to become active in the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce. Her activities eventually led her to become the Chairman of the Board, the third woman in their one-hundred-year history. Her volunteerism has included either chairing or serving on the Business Service Council, Communications Catalysts Subcommittee, Community Affairs Committee, Long-Range Planning Committee, Economic Development Committee, and the Ambassadors. In recognition of her contribution to the NVCC, Ms. Barrett was recently honored as the first recipient of the Paul Smith Award for Volunteerism.

Ms. Barrett is also a founder and current president of the Neponset Valley Women's Business Network, providing a supportive environment to promote networking, encourage referrals, and offer educational opportunities for women in the Neponset Valley area.
